Génération Mer needed 60 drawings to illustrate Haïku poems themed around the sea and ocean. 4 illustrators were chosen, to make 15 illustrations each.

The book is separated in two parts, by age group :

“Marée Montante” - 5-25 year olds
“Marée Descendante” - 26-70 year olds
